My role as project lead involved planning, organizing, and delegating roles to my group members so that our project could meet all the needs of our client, Rocket 55, and their partner company for the project, Big Blue Boxes. I worked with four other students and our goal was to present analytical findings on how Big Blue Boxes could improve their SEO and website design to increase traffic flow and convert more sales.
We were given access to their website’s Google Analytics and SEMrush to analyze customer patterns in conversion funnels, conversion pathways, and dropout rates, among many other metrics. SEMrush also measured how Big Blue Boxes was ranking in various search queries.
Together as a group, we presented findings on key search queries to spend more on to increase SEO rank, elements in their Google search page result to increase customer traffic flow to higher converting landing pages, and the highest converting pathways and funnels that Big Blue Boxes should ideally direct customers on their website.
